There are no known side effects in the recommended doses and indications. The preparation contains St. John’s wort – possible increased sensitivity to sunlight. St. John’s wort may affect the effect of some concomitantly administered drugs in the treatment of HIV-positive patients. It reduces the effects of cyclosporine and probably other drugs (digoxin, oral contraceptives, theophylline, warfarin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, triptans).
