HOW TO TAKE DISMENOL FORTE IBUPROFEN 400 mg?
Always take Dismenol forte Ibuprofen 400 mg exactly as instructed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not entirely sure. All users should take the lowest effective dose to achieve pain relief for the shortest time necessary to minimize side effects. The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid during or after a meal. Do not take Dismenol forte Ibuprofen 400 mg for longer than 4 days without medical advice.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over and with a body weight of at least 40 kg:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is ½ to 1 film-coated tablet. If necessary, another ½ to 1 film-coated tablet can be taken – up to a maximum of 3 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) daily. A gap of 6 hours should be maintained between doses.
Children under 6 years (and children under 20 kg body weight):
Dismenol forte Ibuprofen 400 mg is not suitable for children under 6 years and children under 20 kg body weight.
Children from 6 years and children from 20 kg body weight:
Dismenol forte Ibuprofen 400 mg may only be given to children from 6 to 12 years with a doctor’s prescription.
