Indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following skin diseases: dandruff of the scalp (flaking of the epidermis of the scalp in the form of white, easily separated scales); seborrheic dermatitis (brown-red patches on the chest and face that flake off as white or yellow scales; tinea versicolor (small white patches on the skin of the chest).
The shampoo quickly relieves itching and flaking of the skin, reduces oiliness of the hair and scalp. Has an antifungal effect for several days after washing your hair.

Nizoral® shampoo for pityriasis vulgaris and seborrheic dermatitis is used as follows:

Treatment period – 2 times a week for 2-4 weeks:

Apply a small amount of shampoo to the infected skin (hair can be washed with regular shampoo).
Using a small amount of water, distribute the shampoo evenly over the skin. In the case of long hair, it is enough to wash only the scalp.
Rub the shampoo into the skin until foam is obtained.

The treatment period is once a day for 5 days.
Prevention – before the summer period, 1 time per day for 3 days in a row.
Contraindications
Nizoral® 20 mg/g medicated shampoo should not be used by people with a known hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or any of the ingredients of the drug. Hypersensitivity to the drug is manifested by redness and itching of the skin where the shampoo comes into contact with the skin.
