Anthroposophical medicine in diseases of the digestive organs
Application areas:
According to the anthroposophical human and natural knowledge. These include: stimulation of peptic digestive activity through harmonization of motor and secretory functional operations, e.g. Repetuous, feeling of fullness, nausea.
Contraindications:
Bitter elixir must not be used
for well-known hypersensitivity to ginger and pepper
in gastric and intestinal ulcers
in pregnancy and lactation
Apply only after consultation with the doctor at Gallenstein Dishes.
Precautions for the application and warnings:
For longer persistent or unclear complaints, a doctor must be visited. To apply this medicine for infants, there are no sufficiently documented experiences. It should therefore not be used in children under 6 years. Bitter elixir can be harmful to the teeth (caries). This medicine contains sucrose. Please take Bitter Elixier only after consulting with your doctor if you are known to suffer from any intolerance to certain sugars. 1 tablespoon (15 ml) contains 7 g sucrose (Sugar) corresponding to approx. 0.4 bread units (BE). If you need to follow a diabetes diet, you should take this into account.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, children from 6 to under 12 years 1- To 3 times a day 1 teaspoon of bitter elixir undiluted or diluted with water before meals. Adults and children from 12 years 1 to 3 times a day 1 tablespoon syrup, possibly diluted with water, taking in front of the meals.
Duration of application:
The treatment should be completed after 5 days. If no improvement occurs within this period, a doctor should be consulted.
