Lactic acid bacteria (lactobacilli) are an essential part of the healthy vaginal environment. The germs supplied by Döderlein Med promote the establishment or restoration of a normal vaginal environment, among other things, by setting the necessary slightly acidic pH value and by forming inhibitors against pathogenic bacteria. Disturbing yeast fungi are also reduced. Döderlein Med is used for disorders of the physiological vaginal environment, e.g. discharge (fluor vaginalis).
Contraindications
Döderlein Med must not be used if you are allergic to Lactobacillus gasseri culture lyophilisate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6.
Particular caution is required when using Döderlein Med in the case of vaginal bleeding of unknown cause and in the case of highly inflammatory or purulent discharge; in these cases you must consult a doctor before use.
