Enterol in sachets is a medicinal product containing lyophilized Saccharomyces boulardii, which is used for:
treatment of acute infectious diarrhea in adults and children;
prevention and treatment of colitis and diarrhea caused by antibiotics;
as an adjunct to treatment with vancomycin/metronidazole to prevent relapse of diseases caused by Clostridium difficile;
prevention of diarrhea due to tube feeding;
treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
1 or 2 sachets per day.
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a small amount of water or sweetened soft drink, stir and drink. The powder can also be mixed with food.
Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
This medicine should not be mixed with very hot (over 50°C), ice-cold, alcoholic drinks or food.
