Latent or manifest iron deficiency with or without development of anemia; Iron deficiency anemia, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in childhood (from 6 years of age), with a low-iron diet, acute and chronic blood loss.
Contraindications and Precautions
The drug must not be taken
– if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the drug.
– if you have a narrowing of the esophagus.
– if you have a hereditary iron storage disease (haemochromatosis).
– if you suffer from iron overload (chronic haemolysis, thalassemia, other haemoglobinopathies).
– if you suffer from iron metabolism disorders (e.g. sideroachrestic anemia, lead anemia).
– if you receive repeated or chronic blood transfusions.
