How does LactoStop®?
LactoStop® replaces the missing body’s own enzyme lactase. Lactase divides the lactose recorded with food into its digestible components galactosis and glucose. Unpleasant disorders such as abdominal pain, feeling of fullness or flatulence can be avoided.
How do I dose LactoStop?®
LactoStop® is available in the dosing strengths 3,300 FCC, 5,500 FCC and 14,000 FCC.
The personal need for lactase supplied depends on the body’s own lactase production and on the amount of lactose contained in food and drinks. Therefore, the need for the lactase supplied from person to person is very different. You determine your personal needs individually by varying the number of tablets or the dosage of the tablets (FCC units).
The lactase content in LactoStop® is given in FCC units (Food Chemicals Codex). To determine your personal LactoStop®-requirement, please first assume from the following rule of thumb: 1,000 FCC units column approx. 1.7 g of lactose
